A Country Star Brings a Taste of Nashville to the Vegas Strip

Posted by Cirrus Aviation on Dec 30, 2016 12:53:25 PM

A good honky tonk is hard to find in Las Vegas. That's why country star John Rich is bringing Redneck Riviera to the Grand Bazaar Shops in front of Bally's hotel and casino. The bar follows a "work hard, play hard" theme according to the guitar player and singer, who is one half of the country music duo Big & Rich. He recently gave a tour of the venue as construction was wrapping up.

Redneck Riviera features a large open-air room with a stage in the corner for live music seven days a week, starting as early as 11 a.m. Rich says he personally designed the sound system and hopes to feature name acts as well as up-and-comers. Performers can audition by applying online through Redneck Riviera's Facebook page. The venue is looking for acts who play everything from current music to the likes of Merle Haggard and Lynyrd Skynyrd

The Power Inside the Park Theater

In less than a week, the Park Theater will officially open its doors for the first time at the Park MGM resort, as Stevie Nicks and the Pretenders hit the stage for a classic rock double-bill on December 17. However, the newest concert venue in Las Vegas is already getting plenty of attention for a high-tech array of features.

The Park Theater can generally hold 5,200 people, although that number can go up or down, depending on the seating configuration. However, every seat will have strong sightlines and crystal clear sound. In fact, the back row is only about 147 feet away from the stage, making even the worst seat in the house a great one. Everyone will be able to hear every note of music perfectly, as the sound system by L'Acoustics was specially designed and tuned for the theater.

A Sneak Peek at the W Las Vegas Hotel

Posted by Cirrus Aviation on Oct 17, 2016 11:36:16 AM

An iconic hotel brand has finally come to Las Vegas. The W Las Vegas will take over the Lux Tower of the SLS Las Vegas at the south end of the Strip. Final construction on the project is just beginning to wrap up with an opening date set for December.

The perks are clear from the moment you arrive. Instead of a lobby, guests enter a "living room" area -- with three check-in pods, a front desk and luggage area. There's even a DJ booth. Decorations and lights are based on the iconic elements of Las Vegas -- including a "neon garden" -- and change from day to night. Convenience is the priority -- with just 57 feet between the front desk and the elevators.
