It's almost easy to overlook Michael Mina's eponymous restaurant at the Bellagio. It's been going strong for two decades — first known as Aqua and now simply as Michael Mina — serving incredible food to large crowds while newer restaurants enjoy the buzz and publicity that come with grand openings and high-profile locations. Michael Mina on the other hand, is tucked away in the corner near the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, almost invisible to the crowds of tourists focused on taking selfies among the seasonal floral displays.

A Country Star Brings a Taste of Nashville to the Vegas Strip

Posted by Cirrus Aviation on Dec 30, 2016 12:53:25 PM

A good honky tonk is hard to find in Las Vegas. That's why country star John Rich is bringing Redneck Riviera to the Grand Bazaar Shops in front of Bally's hotel and casino. The bar follows a "work hard, play hard" theme according to the guitar player and singer, who is one half of the country music duo Big & Rich. He recently gave a tour of the venue as construction was wrapping up.

Redneck Riviera features a large open-air room with a stage in the corner for live music seven days a week, starting as early as 11 a.m. Rich says he personally designed the sound system and hopes to feature name acts as well as up-and-comers. Performers can audition by applying online through Redneck Riviera's Facebook page. The venue is looking for acts who play everything from current music to the likes of Merle Haggard and Lynyrd Skynyrd

A Sneak Peek at the W Las Vegas Hotel

Posted by Cirrus Aviation on Oct 17, 2016 11:36:16 AM

An iconic hotel brand has finally come to Las Vegas. The W Las Vegas will take over the Lux Tower of the SLS Las Vegas at the south end of the Strip. Final construction on the project is just beginning to wrap up with an opening date set for December.

The perks are clear from the moment you arrive. Instead of a lobby, guests enter a "living room" area -- with three check-in pods, a front desk and luggage area. There's even a DJ booth. Decorations and lights are based on the iconic elements of Las Vegas -- including a "neon garden" -- and change from day to night. Convenience is the priority -- with just 57 feet between the front desk and the elevators.

"Puppet Up! - Uncensored"... Your New Favorite Show on the Strip

Posted by Cirrus Aviation on Sep 1, 2016 12:00:00 PM

Improv comedy isn't everyone's cup of tea. The same holds true for puppet shows. However, there's a new production on the Strip that is putting both elements together with spectacular results.

"Puppet Up! - Uncensored" recently made its Las Vegas debut inside the Sands Showroom at the Venetian. It's produced by Brian Henson, whose family famously brought the Muppets to the entertainment world decades ago. But be warned: "Puppet Up!" is no kid's show. It blends raunchy adult humor with puppetry, creating not only the most unique show the Strip has seen in quite some time, but also the funniest.
