There’s a big weekend coming up in Las Vegas that’s perfect for beer lovers.

The "Las Vegas Beer and Barrel Project" will take over the Mandalay Bay resort August 28-30. It will include a wide variety of events, such as seminars and tastings, to celebrate the craft of brewing.

The most fun is sure to be had at the headline event – the "Mandalay Beach Craft Beer and Barrel Festival" on Saturday August 29. From 7:30 to 11:30 p.m., guests will be able to enjoy dozens of spirits and craft beer, served from kegs representing the best artisanal brew makers from around the country. Small bites of food will be prepared by some of Mandalay Bay’s top restaurants. It’s a great deal at $75 per person.

That’s not all…

A day earlier, on Friday August 28, a VIP reception will be held with a Pop-Up Pub at Shanghai Lilly, just off the casino floor. The event will feature food and beer pairings, live music and discussions with industry professionals about all things beer.

The fun wraps up on the morning of Sunday August 30, with “Beer for Breakfast” at Fleur by Hubert Keller. Guests can snack on gourmet bites that include family style pastries, entrees, desserts and of course, specially selected craft pairings. Who says you can’t have booze for breakfast? Tickets are $50 – another great deal that offers plenty of bang for your buck.

In between all these big events will be seminars and mixers throughout Mandalay Bay and the Delano sister resort. Whether you’re a beer connoisseur or a casual drinker looking to learn more about the craft, the weekend offers a little bit of everything for everyone.
