Las Vegas is a prime destination for New Year's Eve, Memorial Day weekend and other big holidays. But what about Thanksgiving? A few top restaurants on the Strip are serving up some great food this week.

The Palm Restaurant

Tucked inside the Forum Shops at Caesars, The Palm Restaurant will be serving a three-course menu for $55 per person. Begin the night with lobster bisque, roasted butternut squash bisque, or baby kale, radicchio and apple salad before moving on to a slow roasted hand-carved turkey dinner with a choice of sides. Dessert options include pumpkin pie or a New York style cheesecake. The Palm is open 4-9 p.m. on Thanksgiving day.

Yardbird

Known best for its foodie-friendly fried chicken, Yardbird will be switching things up for Thanksgiving day at the Venetian resort. A Turkey Duo Plate will feature chicken fried turkey, smoked turkey leg, cauliflower mash, green beans, cranberry dressing and a cornbread muffin. Save room for the pumpkin cheesecake. The dessert features rum-soaked pumpkin cake with cream cheese mousse and pumpkin seed brittle.

Morels

The French steakhouse at the Palazzo is serving up something big for the holiday. Make a reservation in advance for eight or more adults and an oven-roasted free range turkey will be carved tableside. It will be served with romaine heart salad, roasted butternut squash soup, brioche stuffing, glazed autumn root vegetables, yukon gold mashed potatoes, giblet gravy and house-made cranberry compote. Finish off the dinner with spiced pumpkin pie with cinnamon ice cream and some hot mulled cider. Call in advance for availability.

Costa di Mare

The Wynn's Italian-inspired seafood restaurant is putting a unique spin on the holiday. A set Thanksgiving meal begins with a seared scallop with puree of porcini mushroom and chestnuts before moving on to a salad of farro, Brussels sprouts, pomegranate and pumpkin seeds in a sherry vinaigrette. Enjoy an Italian squash agnolotti and then the main course of oven-roasted turkey with pancetta stuffing. Side dishes include tuscan kale, vanilla-scented yams and yukon potato puree. A pumpkin bomboloni will be served for dessert with cinnamon gelato. The whole meal is $110 per person.
