From March 19 to April 8, 68 college basketball teams will compete in the 2019 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament, eventually working their way down to the Final Four and then the championship game. Part of the fun is putting together your own brackets, but even more fun is betting on all the action. That makes Las Vegas the best place to enjoy the games. Here's your guide to March Madness in Sin City.Sports Books
There is no shortage of betting windows on the Strip. Almost any big casino is going to have a sports book. The ones at the Wynn, Cosmopolitan and The LINQ have seen dramatic renovations in recent years. Caesars Palace, the MGM Grand, Aria and Westgate also have large sports books with big screens and comfortable seating to catch all the action.
Sports bars are expected to offer drinks deals, special menus and expanded hours for those eager to watch the games after placing their bets. Top options on the Strip include Lagasse's Stadium at the Venetian, The Still at the Mirage, Blondies at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood and Tap at the MGM Grand.

Some of the best Vegas restaurants are celebrating March Madness. Mercato Della Pescheria at the Grand Canal Shoppes is playing the games on high-def screens while offering bruschetta, seafood croquettes, crispy calamari and pizza to go along with Peroni draft beer, wine and cocktails. MB Steak at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will put an upscale spin on a gameday favorite with a grilled wagyu hot dog topped with shaved black truffles and pinot noir mustard while college basketball is shown on TVs in the bar and lounge.
The Cosmopolitan hosts Hoops & Hops, a three-day beer festival that runs all day (7:30am to 9:30pm) March 21-23 to watch the games. There will be on-site betting and even a basketball net to practice your own shots. For some Downtown action, the 12th floor of The D on Fremont Street will transform into a March Hoops viewing party March 20-24. Guests can place bets, book private man caves and enjoy drinks at Longbar.
Think Outside the Box
In Las Vegas, the only limit is your imagination. Book a hotel villa or luxury suite, where you can customize your party and watch a game in privacy with family and friends. If you prefer some eye candy to go along with your basketball, most strip clubs are throwing viewing parties. Sapphire has a special called the "Double Team" during March Madness, which includes entry for six people, two-hour open bar and bottle service with two premium bottles and mixers.
