A new party destination is coming to Las Vegas in 2019. KAOS will open its doors in April as part of an ongoing $690 million renovation at the Palms. The space is being designed from the ground up, combining a 29,000-square-foot nightclub with a 73,000-square-foot poolside dayclub. Both are expected to take advantage of the latest audio, video and lighting technology.
The venue is already getting lots of attention for its exclusive residencies, including breakout star Cardi B. "I'm coming to Vegas," the rapper confirmed to her fans on Instagram. "Go check me out in the Palm(s) this year in Vegas. It's gonna be poppin'."
In addition to the chart-topping hits of Cardi B, KAOS is making a point to have a loaded lineup of EDM heavyweights. Other residencies announced so far include Above & Beyond, G-Eazy, Kaskade and Skrillex.
Yet KAOS is about more than starpower. The Palms is sparing no expense in making the venue an eye-popping spectacle. The two-level dayclub will have more swimming pools than any other resort in North America, including two main pools and private plunge pools with most of the 39 lavish cabanas. A 65-foot-tall bronze sculpture by artist Damien Hirst will dramatically emerge from one of the main pools. Most impressive of all — the entire east exterior of the Palms' Ivory Tower will be an LED video wall, displaying high-tech graphics and glimpses of the action and excitement taking place inside KAOS.

The new nightclub and dayclub is just another example of how the Palms is redefining its image as a modern, upscale, luxury resort. Other recent openings at the property targeting affluent guests include Scotch 80 Prime steakhouse, Apex Social Club (an upbeat lounge on the 55th floor) and Mr. Coco (an intimate ultra-exclusive cocktail parlor).
