Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Las Vegas

Posted by Cirrus Aviation on Mar 14, 2017 2:08:58 PM

Las Vegas can compete with Chicago, New York, Savannah and yes, perhaps even Dublin as one of the best places in the world to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. You just need to know where to look - and pick the right spot to have some fun. Check out a few of these ideas.

New York-New York

The annual Celtic Feis celebration takes place March 17-18 (11 a.m. to 2:30 a.m.) by the Brooklyn Bridge replica outdoors. There will be plenty of music, drinks and authentic Irish food from Nine Fine Irishmen. Try the Bangers n' Mash.

If that wasn't enough, Tom's Urban is serving a PB&J (Pabst Blue Ribbon and Jameson Irish Whiskey shot) all month long. The restaurant will also donate a $1 for every 40-ounce beer sold to St. Baldrick's Foundation to fight childhood cancer. Have it served in Tom's Big @$$ 40, a two-handled 40-ounce beer mug.

MGM Grand

Bartender and self-proclaimed "funologist" John O'Donnell will host a celebration of toasts and spirits beginning at 5 p.m. Friday, March 17, with $10 pizzas, $6 drafts and $5 wines by the glass in the bar area until 7 p.m. There will also be Irish music and specialty meals (Corned Beef, Cabbage and Soda Bread or Brown Irish Lamb Stew with Fingerling Potatoes and Carrots) throughout the evening.

Head to Pub 365 where on Thursday, March 16, guests can receive their own Guinness pint glass and have it personally engraved while enjoying their meal 4-6 pm. On Friday, March 17, you can order Corned Beef and Cabbage or Shepherd's Pie. Smithwick's Irish Red Ale and Guinness will be served both days with a free stout beer sidecar with a purchase of Jameson Caskmates.

Mandalay Bay

House of Blues is serving a few specials March 17-19, including Irish Onion Soup (with caramelized onions, beer broth and an Irish cheddar crouton), Irish Nachos (topped with stout braised sausage, pickled cabbage, onions, swiss cheese sauce, jalapenos and remoulade) and traditional Bangers n' Mash.

Downtown Summerlin

Pancho's Mexican Restaurant has a special green margarita for the holiday. The Luck of the Pancho is made with Sauza Blue Reposado tequila, triple sec, house margarita mix, kiwi puree and garnished with a lime and sugar rim. Order it with a green Chile Verde plate.

Planet Hollywood

A St. Pat's patio party will be held at Cabo Wabo Cantina at the Miracle Mile Shops, with green beer, shot specials and beer tubs loaded with both imported and domestic favorites. The restaurant's signature margaritas will also "go green" with Cabo Wabo tequila and Grand Marnier served on the rocks.

As you can see, there are plenty of reasons to fly into Las Vegas for St. Patrick's Day weekend. Arrive in style on a private jet with Cirrus Aviation and be ready to hit the town! Call (702) 472-9714 today.
