Celebrate March Madness in Las Vegas

Posted by Cirrus Aviation on Mar 15, 2017 8:00:00 AM

Spring is a busy season for Las Vegas, thanks in part to the action surrounding March Madness. With nearly three weeks of college basketball games, the NCAA tournament attracts more betting action than the Super Bowl. So place your bet and find a place on the Strip to watch some B-Ball.

The intimate yet stylish Lily Bar and Lounge will have chicken wings and other snacks to go along with signature cocktails. Food and beverage minimums start at $200 beginning March 16.

Treasure Island

Want to start the day off early with college basketball? The ballroom at the T.I. will open at 7:30 a.m. March 16-18 for a viewing party that includes large screen TVs, banquet table seating, cash bar and in-house betting stations.

Planet Hollywood

The Cabo Wabo Cantina at the Miracle Mile Shops will offer daily specials March 14-April 5 with "March Mayhem" shot girls, beer bucket specials and beer tubs. The Loft on the second level will have VIP packages available with private seating starting at $75.

The Cosmopolitan

The Belmont ballroom is turning into the ultimate sports lounge for March Madness with "Hoops & Hops" March 16-17. Catch the action on 12 high-def jumbo-sized screens, place a bet on-site, and enjoy food from the Cosmo's collection of stellar restaurants. Did we mention the open bar included with the ticket? There's even a net where you can practice a few free throws yourself. If you're down at the lobby, head over to Clique. The upscale lounge will have a "Battle of the Brackets" event with doors open at 9 a.m.

The Mirage

The Still is hosting "Brackets and Beer" celebrations with doors opening at 8 a.m. on game days. Every seat in this sports bar has a perfect view of the action, thanks to high-def televisions scattered throughout the venue.

Head to the Tuscany casino just off the Strip, where Pub 365 lives up its name with a collection of 365 rotating beers (or one for every day of the year). Drink specials during the game include Budweiser and Bud Light beer buckets as well as draft pitchers of American Flyer Craft Lager by local favorite Joseph James

MGM Grand

Level Up is a new interactive gaming lounge that will be busy throughout college hoops season with food from Taps and specialty drinks with $100 minimums.

The Tropicana

The Tropicana Theater and Tropicana Lounge will be showing the games with one and two day passes that include options for beer, wine and liquor March 16-19. A special VIP pass also includes pizza and your own server. The passes will get you entry to the resort's pool as well.
