As the CEO of Cirrus Aviation Services, Greg Woods is fully aware of both the rewards and challenges of operating a successful private charter aircraft business. With more than 35 years of experience in the industry, Cirrus Aviation is the largest private jet charter company in Las Vegas, offering flights out of a private terminal at McCarran International Airport to more than 10,000 destinations worldwide.

Many of the company's clients are celebrities - including actors, athletes, politicians, DJs and rock stars - flying frequently for both private parties and public events. Cirrus Aviation also serves corporate executives who are traveling for important business meetings or to enjoy the pleasures of what top vacation destinations have to offer. In addition to Las Vegas, popular locations include Los Angeles and busy cities in Canada, Mexico and the Bahamas.

While private jets offer elements of glamor and luxury, Woods believes what travellers appreciate most is saving time in getting from one airport to another. They also enjoy incredible degrees of convenience, privacy and discretion. Cirrus Aviation Services is a privately owned business based in Las Vegas that is able to offer a comprehensive experience for its guests – helping them book ground transportation and show tickets, as well as hotel and restaurant reservations while offering tips on the latest hot spots on and around the Strip.

“We’re connected and friendly with people who run things here in Las Vegas, including hotels and nightclubs,” says Woods. "They’ll refer us because they know about the exceptional service we provide.”

The company’s fleet of six jets includes a seven-seat Beechjet 400A, an eight-seat Cessna Citation III with complimentary WiFi, two trans-continental Learjet 60s accommodating up to seven passengers each, a recently acquired Challenger 604 that seats up to ten passengers and a Lear Jet 45XR seating 8. As business continues to grow, Woods doesn’t rule out adding more aircraft to the fleet. Future plans include remote bases in Los Angeles, New York and Scottsdale while expanding the company’s concierge services with partner VegasGiant.

For Woods, providing extraordinary service is what Cirrus Aviation is all about – and what people remember most. “We’re all about giving our clients the full experience."
